Awesome service!! They were extremely helpful and friendly! I loved how they were accommodating to the customers and being very organized with after hours drop-offs and pick-ups. They were also very quick with fixing my car which was great.

Since I recently moved to the Grand Rapids area I had to find a new mechanic, and Ervine's was the third, and last, place I will take my cars to. I went there based on the overwhelmingly positive review, but Ervine's was also the only place that passed my own little "quality control" test. I take my '07 Xterra, which is in great shape, in for an oil change and ask the mechanic to look over the rest of the vehicle to see if anything else needed to be taken care of. Out of the three, Ervine's was not only the first shop to comment on what great shape my vehicle is in, but they were the only one to not artificially create services my vehicle didn't need. An added bonus, they reminded me of the upcoming preventive maintenance my car would need. As a result, I don't think I'll need to look for another mechanic as long as I live in the Grand Rapids area.

I just used Ervine's Auto Repair to fix my 99 Jeep Wrangler. They were quick to fix both issues with my jeep and kept great contact with me on the repairs as they were going on. I got my jeep two days later and the price was more than 200 dollars less than expected! I would easily go to Ervine's against for any car tunes ups or repairs, no questions asked.

Great first experience at Irvine's. Customer care (Jamie) is incredibly helpful with helping plan an appointment and making sure that everything is done right. The auto work that is done is top notch and they really care about the condition of your car. Loaner car program is great and sets this place apart from other auto shops in the area.

I discovered Ervine's after moving to Wyoming and needing to find a place I liked and trusted as much as the shop I used on the extreme north side of Grand Rapids. Online feedback and a neighbor sent me to Ervine's and they were exactly what I was looking for. They treat me like a valued customer, explain very clearly what needs to be done (and why) when I bring it in, present me with options, give me a logical recommendation based on those options, and provide a free loaner car if I need it. When my old battery died recently, the owner came to my house and gave me a jump so I could get it to the shop without a towing charge. I can't imagine what else could be asked for. Nobody likes having to bring their car to an auto repair shop and having to spend the money to fix whatever the problem might be, but the folks at Ervine's make it as painless as possible. My only tiny wish would be for coffee that's not decaf ;)

After the mechanic that I was using (who I was very happy with) moved far enough out of town to no longer be convenient, I was in despair of finding another mechanic of that quality. The first time I needed Ervine's was when I was replacing the battery in my Forester and apparently (despite checking twice) connected it backwards and fried a few things. It was a Sunday afternoon and after picking Ervine's because of the great reviews (and it also didn't hurt that they are about 1/2 mile from my office!) I called, expecting to leave a message for a callback. Imagine my surprise when a human being (the fantastic Jamie) answered the phone on the 2nd ring! I had my car towed over, Eric called me early Monday morning with the estimate, and I had the car back by lunchtime. That was over a year ago, and I've used Ervine's a number of times since then both for my Forester and my wife's Saturn, and I've been VERY pleased every time. Every time I call, Jamie makes me feel like I'm the most important customer they have, and as other reviews have mentioned, Ervine's does NOT try to tack on extra services that you don't need to inflate the bill.

My husband and I are loyal customers having them work on both of our vehicles multiple times. Every time the staff is very friendly, the service is excellent and the price is fair. They also send annual rebate checks for customer loyalty and have the 'loaner car' service as well for no additional fee, which has helped us out quite a bit. I know that when our cars need any work done, we will be coming back to Ervine's!

I had a great experience at Ervine's. I know very little about my car beyond turning it on, so I was relieved when the staff were willing to spend extra time explaining to me exactly what is going on and helping me to be an informed consumer. I also appreciated that they are not trying to sell something-- I did not actually need the repair that the dealership had told me to IMMEDIATELY deal with, and the folks at Ervine's were willing to tell me that when they could have made a buck doing the repair. The visit was so painless I even got to run errands while I was waiting using one of their fabulous loaner cars. Thank you so much!

There are FANTASTIC. Excellent quality work and wonderful staff terrib, BYRON CENTER I really like that I am able to get an appointment that same day that I call. They have a loaner car available and if it isn't available they give me a ride back to work and come pick me up when it is finished. Everyone is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I am impressed with the quality work and they take time to check other maintenance/vital parts that may need to be fixed. I really appreciate that because I don't want to find out the hard way by being broke down on the side of the road. I can't say enough good about Ervine's. I would recommend them to everyone.
