BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!. I had to move on from my mechanic of 16 years. But it wasn't easy trusting someone else with my vehicle. I read review after review made a few calls. I ended up with Ervine's Auto Repair. Not only do they have skilled mechanics who are VERY thorough. Their customer service team is amazing!. Amber, Megan and Jamie (Customer Service Team) are genuinely some of the best people that I've met in my life. Due to me having an ancient truck (lol) and a shot engine it made no sense to have my vehicle repaired. They will not steer you in the wrong direction. Expect honesty when it comes to their diagnosis and recommendations. Even if it means that they may lose out on money. They are going to keep it real with you. I could tell that they truly value their customers, I felt like family. It was a wonderful experience. I plan to bring my next set of wheels to them. Thank you all for EVERYTHING!

The team at Ervine's are great. They take the time to find the real issue (not just guess). They provide good guidance and advice on which repairs to prioritize to get the best benefit for my money. The best part is they are NOT pushy. I have been using them for three years, and I can say I trust them over any other repair shop or dealer in Grand Rapids.

They performed a thorough inspection, explained every finding clearly, and gave me a fair estimate for the necessary repairs. I appreciated their low-pressure approach—everything they found was clearly prioritized between “fix now” or “monitor for future.” Steve was incredibly communicative throughout the process, keeping me updated on part delivery and repair progress.

Everything about the process of getting my car scheduled for service, inspected, and repaired is smooth. Having potential issues pointed out and explained to me brings me clarity, as well. On top of that, Im grateful to know that Im paying for high quality service every time.

Literally the best experience I’ve ever ever had with an auto mechanic, ever. Steve walked me through all the issues with the Volt, and they were all very understanding of financial restrictions and walked me through what fixes were urgent and which ones could potentially be put off a little while. Excellent communication, great support. Really appreciated the loaner, too!

Had an unknown issue with my vehicle that the friendly staff at Ervine’s was able to investigate and get back to me very quickly on. Steve was communicative with me every step of the way and took time out of his day to thoroughly go over the findings with me before any decision was made on work. The costs of each service was explained up front and I could choose which things I wanted to solve now or at a later date. I was never pressured to get unnecessary or unrelated work done and given plenty of time to consider the issues. The work was done in a very timely manner and my vehicle feels great to drive again. They also offer the option for a free loaner vehicle as long as you reserve one in advance. I would not hesitate to bring any vehicle I have back here or to recommend them to friends and family.
