I took my son's car in based on the reviews being so great. They were friendly and communicated very well what the charges were and why. I have mechanics in my family so I was shell shocked at having to pay retail prices because I'm used to paying for parts only. I live too far away from home so I had to suck it up. The car was fixed fast and so far so good! I do recommend them for repairs.

We had a great experience here twice. Reasonably priced, got the job done fast and you can look on their site for updates on your vehicle! That part was really cool. They give you honest opinions as well.

If you're in a position where you can't afford to get mistreated, like my wife and I, take your vehicle here for service. I'm not in their dept, I pay my bills. Ervine's not in my dept, because they do what they say. They've done excellent work on a number of serious issues on our 93 2wd Suburban we are truly grateful for. Heck, I'm starting to look at Prius' for our next car, just to be worthy of their service bay. Thank you so much folks.

I am very impressed. I needed my breaks done. I requested a loaner just in case it took longer than necessary for a fix or if there was something random they needed to fix. I hadnt brought my car in a long time....for reasons. Brought it in wednesday night right before closing and they had my car inspected the next morning. They were honest, to the point, thorough, and if I had questions they answered. They had it done same day. I drove my car today in wind, ice, snow and traffic and it felt like smooth silky heavenly chocolate. I had my husband drive it to work tonight. Mostly because I wanted him to feel like what heaven felt like ( new tires and breaks). He texted, omg.

My Toyota Tacoma. Front half shaft. Seal axle berring hole deal. My guys couldn't get the axle out. Bruce came through. I'd recommend his shop totality. Quality work at a far price. Plus thay worked with my warenity company.

These guys know their stuff and they're very friendly to boot. I worked with Bruce, whose son actually recommended the shop to me. I'm a shade tree mechanic - I do basic work on my car during the warm months and have done as much as change the timing belt on my Focus. However, during the cold months of the year, I don't have a garage in Grand Rapids to do this kind of work (I did when I lived in the Detroit area and I miss those days dearly). When my accessory tensioner broke in January, I didn't want to force myself to work on the car with freezing cold fingers in my parking lot. Enter Ervine's: I had my car towed there and they did all of the work. Bruce was very up-front and friendly about everything and I couldn't be happier with the results. He found a few other issues with the car (bad water pump - ugh!) and replaced a tie rod end as well. Even though my car was lowered, Bruce made an exception to their policy on modified cars and performed an alignment as best he could anyway. The car doesn't handle the way it should, but that's my fault since the camber isn't set correctly. My only grudge is a personal one since I'm spoiled and normally fix my own cars: this was an expensive trip. I spent $900 when all was said and done. I could have done the work myself for $400 with OEM brand parts. NAPA parts aren't cheap to begin with and when you throw labor on top of that, this definitely isn't a cheap shop to take your car to. But you get what you pay for, and I paid a premium. Highly recommended if you want car repair work and maintenance done right.
