After a couple of less than stellar experiences at another shop (currently behind O'Reily Auto Parts on 28th St by 131) after their ownership changed I thought I'd give Ervine's a try. The customer service, communication, quality of work and speed at which my vehicle was repaired were outstanding. Price for the repair was in line with what I expected. The one thing I did not care for was the diagnostic fee is not waived/reduced if you have the vehicle repaired there. I understand not wanting to diagnose issues only to have owners go elsewhere. There is value in your knowledge and time that shouldn't be given away for free. On the flip side, The shop I used to go to would provide free estimates/diagnoses. After the ownership changed I've received multiple misdiagnosed problems from them. So I guess you get what you pay for in some sense. I would go back to Ervine's for future repairs.

I am new to West Michigan and was nervous about finding a reputable, affordable and reliable auto mechanic. We found Ervine's and were pleased with the positive reviews so we went to Eric and Jamie for help. The repairs needed on our car were pretty substantial and although it was an expensive repair, the actual cost was justifiable and I am sure that it would have been more expensive if I went elsewhere. Ervine's fixed my car in a few days, even with the extensive repairs and parts needed, and I was back on the road in no time. I even had an issue where the car was making strange noises after my initial repair, so I took it back and they were able to quickly identify a part that was too tight and repaired that right away at no cost, of course. Ervine's was extremely friendly, very considerate and overall we were so pleased. We are so thrilled to have found a mechanic and without a doubt, we will be taking our cars back to Ervine's as long as we can. I highly recommend Ervine's!!!

I have been here multiple times and will be back whenever I need work done on my car. I have had great customer service and have always been more than impresses with the service I have received.

We just had our 2004 Yukon worked on and could not be happier. They have cared for this vehicle since 2006 and it is in tip top shape. It got a new spare tire hoist and the emergency/parking brake totally replaced. They also installed an after-market back-up camera. Everything works great.

I brought my 2004 GMC Envoy to them with an oil issue. They checked my car over throughout and came back with an honest answer about my car and even mentioned issues that I had not brought up. At the end of the time I was very pleased with the repairs I had done. The staff was very honest and kind. I appreciated being able to call and ask questions at any time. I will surely bring them my car from now on.

We brought in a vehicle for a pre-purchase inspection. Eric was very thorough In explaining what would be covered during the inspection. It was completed on time, and thoroughly explained, giving us confidence to make a good purchase.

Great and friendly service as always. Always keep you well informed and do what they say they will do. No better place to get your car serviced. We have been with them for over 30 years and have always had great service.

I took my son's car in based on the reviews being so great. They were friendly and communicated very well what the charges were and why. I have mechanics in my family so I was shell shocked at having to pay retail prices because I'm used to paying for parts only. I live too far away from home so I had to suck it up. The car was fixed fast and so far so good! I do recommend them for repairs.
